Local Black History Month Program

February 11-Shenandoah
6:30 p.m. Local Black History Program at the Town of Shenandoah Museum 507 First Street, Shenandoah, VA 22849.   Karl Rand with Shenandoah National Park will give a presentation on Lewis Mountain.  Lewis Mountain offered segregated facilities for African Americans visiting the Shenandoah National Park.  Lewis Mountain was also featured in the Green Book, a guidebook for African American travelers.  This is a free program.
