Certified Police Officer

CERTIFIED POLICE OFFICER

The Town of Shenandoah is accepting applications for one (1) full-time certified police officer.  This full-time position will be responsible for all aspects of law enforcement.  Other duties include, but are not limited to:  record keeping and reports as required by local, state and federal agencies and/or laws.  Applicants must have current valid Virginia driver’s license; must be at least 21 years old; high school graduate or equivalent; and must pass physical examination.  All applicants will be subject to random drug testing, a background check, which may include a polygraph test, and must be a U.S. citizen.
